Depending on what you want private training for, I offer two different types.

1. Hourly Rate:  The fee runs $60 an hour (with adjustments for time over one hour, such as $30 for an additional half hour).  Coming from Tonganoxie, this fee applies to all locations within a 30-40 minute drive time.  Locations further away will be subject to a small additional fee for gas and time.  Please contact for this pricing.  This type of private training works well for a one time session or special needs.

2. Missed out on the start of a class or do you have a dog that would do better one on one? I offer the chance to do obedience class at your home or another location.  The way this works: this is a 3 time, 1 hour class session that covers all the basics (contact if you want other skills).  We will meet at scheduled times at least once every two weeks for 3 times, and you will learn the skills you would in a group class.  The cost is $150 and is paid at first session.  

 

Special Training: Service/Assistance Dog

I can assist you train your own dog for service/assistance.  I can help you from the ground floor up in picking the right type of puppy/dog, the basics, and advanced commands such as picking up dropped objects, opening/closing doors, turning on/off lightswitches, and opening handicap access doors at shopping locations.  With the right dog, you can create your own public access or home based service dog.  Special pricing on service dog training.  Contact for details.  

 

Training/Behavioral Issues: These sessions are geared towards what you and your dog need.  I have you fill out a questionnaire prior to meeting to better understand your needs.  We work towards a resolution with whatever your issues are.  

 

 

Are you wanting to get a CGC on your dog? I offer a Canine Good Citizen class, but if your dog already knows the skills, I can also do private testing for you.  I can also do testing at events, shows, etc. for your group.  Contact for more details.
